Load Cell Recommendations for Process Tanks

    Hi guys,
We’re upgrading a process line in Montreal, Canada and need load cell systems for several batch tanks:
    2 × 40,000 lb (tank itself ~10,000 lb) – 3 legged
    1×20,000lb net
    1×10,000lb net
The larger tanks are 3 legged, smaller ones are either 4 legged or flat bottomed on the ground.
Looking for recommendations on suitable load cells and installation approaches. Thanks in advance!

OP, for 3 legged tanks, I’d go with one load cell per leg and make sure you have proper mounting kits (check rods or anti-lift if there’s agitation). Also consider shock loading if you’re filling quickly—oversize your capacity a bit beyond nominal load.
