    After purchasing one ATO load cell, you can buy a special digital panel meter to obtain readings directly, or buy a transmitter to output standard signal to PLC, DCS and other systems. Customized output signal is 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA.

    Note: The load cell cannot be connected to both the transmitter and the controller at the same time — only one can be selected.

    Tips: How does the donut load cell works?

    This load cell works by measuring the deformation of its stainless steel ring when a force is applied through the central hole. High-precision strain gauges bonded to the ring detect tiny changes in strain, which are converted into a proportional electrical signal via a Wheatstone bridge. This allows accurate measurement of weight or force, with the sensor’s sealed, corrosion-resistant design ensuring long-term stability and reliability.
