    Mini Clamp Meter Details

Tips: What is the different between clamp meter and digital multimeter?
In the industrial production process, some operating low-voltage equipment or circuits need to know the current situation at any time, but the equipment must be operated continuously. In order not to affect the production or bring unnecessary losses, it is impossible to connect the digital multimeter to the equipment in series after powering off, and then measure current in the circuit. Therefore, in order to measure the current without disconnecting the circuit, the clamp meter is developed from the basic digital multimeter. Although it is less accurate than a multimeter, it provides an effective reference standard for maintenance personnel. And it is simple and convenient to operate. Therefore, the difference between a clamp meter and a digital multimeter is that the way of measuring current. The clamp meter can directly measure the current in the line by pressing the trigger to open the jaws and placing the single line to be tested in the middle of the clamp without disconnecting the power line. While the ordinary digital multimeter measures the current, the multimeter black and red pointer string must be connected the power line in series.

    A right-hand man at work
I bought this mini clamp meter for use at work to test AC and DC currents in circuits up to 600 amps. It is small and portable and very easy to carry to various workplaces. The measurements are very accurate and I can fully trust its data. Moreover, it is also very easy to operate, so even non-professional electricians can use it easily. All in all, this mini clamp meter meets my work needs and is my right-hand man at work!
