Application

Tips: Can the sensor detect nitrates in food or beverages (like beer or processed water)?
While this sensor is primarily optimized for aqueous solutions in environmental and industrial applications, it can be adapted for low-viscosity water-based food matrices, such as boiler feedwater, process water in food plants, or brewing water. For more complex food systems, pretreatment (e.g., filtration, dilution) may be necessary to isolate the nitrate ions from interfering substances. Specialized food-grade nitrate sensors may be preferred for solid or highly viscous samples.
