Looking for a Water Chiller for Lab Equipment

    Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an air cooled industrial water chiller for one of our lab setups. The equipment requires about 13 kW (≈45,000 BTU) of cooling capacity, and the leaving water temperature should be around 18°C.

I've been browsing different options, but I want to make sure I choose something reliable and appropriately sized. Does anyone have experience with a similar application, or can they recommend a suitable model? I've also been looking at ATO products—do they have anything that would fit these requirements?

Dear, from what I understand, for a 13 kW cooling capacity, depending on efficiency and operating conditions, you would generally need a 4-5 HP chiller. Since this is lab equipment, I'd recommend a water tank–type chiller rather than a direct-flow type, as it gives better temperature stability. Also, make sure the chiller is rated for continuous operation if the load is constant.

Andrew, our ATO-LC5A can meet your cooling capacity requirements. Cooling experimental equipment is generally a water tank type.
