Designed for liquid flow rate and water level measurement, the high quality radar flow meter adopts non-contact technology, suitable for accurate measurement in harsh environment. The flow rate can be measured with an accuracy of ±2% and the water level can be measured with an accuracy of ±1mm, enabling high-resolution details to be captured (flow rate resolution of 0.01m/s). The device has a wide temperature tolerance range (-40°C to +80°C) and supports high humidity operation (0% to 95% RH, no condensation). The waterproof rating reaches IP67 for ruggedness and durability.

Tips: What is a radar flow meter?

A radar flowmeter is a highly accurate device that utilizes radar wave technology to measure the flow rate and flow volume of a liquid, gas or slurry. By transmitting and receiving radar wave signals, the device can accurately calculate the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow rate of the fluid. It is suitable for non-contact measurement under high temperature, high pressure and complex working conditions, especially widely used in petrochemical, water treatment and food processing and other fields.

The radar flowmeter transmits high frequency microwave signals through the antenna, when the signal is reflected after contacting with the fluid, the sensor captures the reflected signal and analyzes the frequency shift, and then calculates the speed and flow rate of the fluid according to the Doppler effect. Due to the non-contact measurement method, it avoids media contamination or equipment wear and ensures long-term stable operation.

Wastewater treatment
There are two points in our wastewater treatment plant where flow measurement is required. A radar/ultrasonic flow meter is required to measure the fluid flow rate. The measured liquid is untreated industrial wastewater from a gas scrubber, which contains soot, water and iron ore particles. The fluid flow rate is maintained between 7m/s and 14m/s, and the temperature is between 50℃ and 65℃. Any recommendations?
