Pin Purpose

I'm currently unsure about the purpose of pins 7 and 8; they appear to be open. Are they used to send feedback information to the controller?

Pin 7 and 8 are spare signal output terminals. For single-output systems, pins 7 and 8 are left unconnected. For dual-output systems, pins 7 and 8 need to be connected to the output terminals.
