    What is a Hot Wire Anemometer?

    The working principle:

    When the hot wire anemometer is turned on, the wire is heated to a constant temperature using a known electrical current. As the air flows over the heated wire, it cools the wire, causing a change in its electrical resistance. This change in resistance is measured by the Wheatstone bridge circuit, which converts the resistance change into a voltage signal. The magnitude of the voltage signal is proportional to the airflow velocity.
