There is no ground connection

We received the order, we are reviewing the wiring and it seems there is no ground connection on the display controller.

We want to install these load cells on a distillery, tanks are 40% alcohol. We have a concern for any possible sparks in an explosive area.

1. Yes, there is No grounding terminal on the display controller, and the grounding wire (yellow cable) of the sensor does Not need to be connected.

2. The inside of the sensor is sealed, and it will Not create a fire or explosion site.

But for safety, you'd better cover the cables with explosion-proof pipes, and place the junction box or transmitter specifically in an explosion-proof box, which will be safer.

Do load cell junction box and amplifier come along with cable entry glands? What type of cable would you suggest for the connection between the load cell Junction box and the load cell amplifier? Or is there any specific cable in your product range for load cell connection?

1. The load cell junction box and amplifier have terminal blocks but no cable connectors.

2. If you want stable signal and better anti-interference, we recommend 4-core shielded cable connection for better connection.
If the distance between the junction box and amplifier is very short, you can also use regular 0.75mm² cable.

3. Generally, we only provide cables for load cells, and the rest of the power cables and control signal cables need to be solved by the users themselves.

S-type loadcell

Does it work with a S-type loadcell (hanging loadcell) ? And If I connect 4 load cells (1000kg), can I measure up to 4000kg?

It can only be connected to transducers of the same type and with the same specifications. If you want to weigh 4000kg then we recommend that you use 4 separate load cells with a range of 4000kg, and this is to prevent overloading due to uneven forces on individual cells.

Tension/Compression

Does the junction box work when some cell is in Tension and other in Compression?

In this state, the junction box cannot work, and the sensor connected to the junction box must be a force-bearing method.

I want to buy your load cell

I'm shopping for your junction box ATO-LCJBX-JXH-S4. Some other company's junction boxes average the output from several sensors, so I want to make sure yours actually sums the outputs rather than averages them.

Can it substrate voltage from a load cell from another.

It cannot be used as a substrate for the voltage of another load cell. The junction box connects the signals of the 2-4 sensors in parallel.

Fully equipped load cell

If I buy your compression load cell and a reader, does it come with everything I need to plug-in and work or do I have to buy wires also?

The load cell junction box satisfies my needs well
