What is a Transmitter?

The transmitter is a device that converts physical measurement signals or ordinary electrical signals into standard electrical signals (4~20mA, 0~20mA, 1~5V, 0~ 10V, etc.) output or can be output by communication protocol (CANBUS, MODBUS, PROFIBUS, etc.)

The relationship between transmitter and sensor

The sensor includes a transmitter. When the sensor outputs a standard signal,  it can be called a transmitter.

Some application examples
