What are the types of pneumatic cylinder?
The pressure of the compressed gas can be converted into the pneumatic actuator of mechanical energy in the pneumatic drive. The pneumatic cylinder has two types of reciprocating linear motion and doing reciprocating oscillation. The pneumatic cylinders that do reciprocating linear motion can be divided into four kinds of single-acting cylinders, double-acting cylinders, diaphragm cylinders and impact cylinders.

1. Single acting pneumatic cylinder
Only one end has a piston rod, it can produce air pressure from the piston side of the gas supply polymerization, air pressure push the piston to produce thrust outstretched and return by spring or self-weight.
2. Dual/ double acting pneumatic cylinders
Alternating gas supply from both sides of the piston, output force in one or two directions.
3. Diaphragm cylinder
Replace the piston with a diaphragm, output the force in only one direction, and reset with a spring. Its sealing performance is good, but the itinerary is short.
4. Impact cylinder
This is a new type of component. It converts the pressure of the compressed gas into the kinetic energy of the piston high speed (10~20 m/s) movement to do the function.
5. Rodless air cylinder
The general name of the cylinder is without piston rod. There are two categories of magnetic cylinders and cable cylinders.
